Victoria Coach Station is London’s primary coach station. It is the capital’s largest coach station and serves 15 different coach companies, including National Express, MegaBus, FlixBus, Eurolines, and OuiBus, The building was opened in 1932 and in the opinion of many has been outgrown by the volume of services that it serves. It can often be crowded with difficulty in finding somewhere to sit. However, it is the central hub for the national networks run by National Express and MegaBus. It is also the primary International hub for European Coach Services run by Eurolines, OuiBus, and FlixBus, along with other companies.
The site covers an area of 3.3 acres and is run by Transport For London. There are two buildings which are situated on opposites sides of Elizabeth Street. On one side is the arrivals building, and on the other side is the departure area. the main departures building has food outlets, retail stores, left luggage and bureau-de-change facilities. The London Victoria Coach Station is located a short walk away from Victoria Rail Station.
